The designation "Valley of the Stars Official Event" is bestowed on a select group of public festivals, events and entertainment series sponsored by qualified organizations, companies and institutions that reflect the highest level of community commitment and excellence in the San Fernando Valley.

This unique, co-promotional opportunity will provide those approved organizations the ability to bring immediate “Valley of the Stars” regional identity and recognition to their local event. At this time, there is no cost to participate in this program!

About the "Valley of the Stars" Program
The Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley, in its quest to enhance the regional brand identity of the San Fernando Valley as the “Valley of the Stars,” is anxious and eager to work with qualified organizations, companies, and institutions in helping to market and promote approved community events.  The Alliance created the “Valley of the Stars” name and logo in 1998 in its efforts to create a positive image and name brand identity for the San Fernando Valley. In 2005, a second, complimentary logo was created for specific use by Official Events.  The Valley of the Stars Official Events program is part of the Regional Branding and Marketing Initiative of the Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley.
   
      

Becoming an "Valley of the Stars OFFICIAL EVENT"
- For an event to qualify as an “Official Valley of the Stars” Event, it must be a unique event sponsored by an established and approved organization.
- The approved Event becomes an “Official Valley of the Stars” Event. The name of the Event remains the same, and the VOTS Brand/Logo with the wording “Official Event” is used on all promotional material.

All Official Events receive online coverage on ValleyoftheStars.org one month ahead of event.

What is expected of your event as an Official Valley of the Stars Event:
1. Submit event summary and artwork of event 45 days in advance.
2. Establish an event page on your Web site suitable for us to link to. This page should include not only basic information such dates and description of the event, but sponsorship opportunities, contact information and a brief description of your organization.
3. Include appropriate Valley of the Stars "Official Event" logo on all printed materials.
4. Include Valley of the Stars "Official Event" online logo on all Web site promotions with link. This logo should appear on the above-mentioned "event page" on your Web site.
5. Provide post-event recap including attendance figures, money raised (if applicable), news of the event and photos for inclusion on EA-related Web sites.

Banner Program
Since launching the “Valley of the Stars” Street Banner campaign three years ago, more than 1,000 of these colorful banners have been displayed throughout the Valley cities of Burbank, Calabasas, Glendale, Los Angeles, and San Fernando.

Monument Program
The monument is a pre-cast, 2-sided concrete block, approximately 3 x 6 feet in size, with the name of each neighborhood gateway prominently identified. Monuments will be placed at strategic street intersections in designated median strips.
